FAQs

  • What do I need to set up an OpenAsset-TrebleHook integration?

First, you need to purchase an OpenAsset license. Next, log in to your OpenAsset instance and provide our administrators with key details, such as the URL and Customer ID of your instance. Finally, our team will enable the OpenAsset integration for you.

  • What is the purpose of the synchronization feature?

The synchronization feature is designed for scenarios where you already have an OpenAsset instance with existing projects—potentially coming from your ERP, PM, or CRM platform—that are also integrated with TrebleHook. Instead of creating duplicate records in OpenAsset, you can link a TrebleHook object to an existing OpenAsset project record.

  • Are there any specific settings or fields to be aware of when using the synchronization feature?

Yes, to establish a proper link and determine whether a TrebleHook project record is associated with an existing OpenAsset project, avoid using the 'Code Alias 2' field in OpenAsset. This field is reserved by our integration process for storing the related TrebleHook project record ID.

  • Can we view thumbnails of our digital assets in the digital asset viewer?

Currently, this feature is not available. However, you can quickly access digital assets by clicking on the provided link. Thumbnail previews have been proposed for a future release.
